About Us
The Storehouse is primarily a church, however as Christians, we want to display the love of God in action through the things we do every day of the week.
We host community hubs, mental health support groups, drop-ins for local agencies, social groups and community meals as well as being the location for the Skegness Food Bank and Restore Centre for the homeless.
Our Church is based on the model of the early church found in Acts 2:42 - 'They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer'.
For us, preaching has to be Biblically based but explained in a vibrant way that is relevant to us today.
Before and after the meetings, there is time to grab refreshments and catch up with people. There are connect groups that meet during the week and friendship groups which meet in the coffee shop. On a monthly basis we host special social events such as quiz's & talent shows.
At the Storehouse we believe communion is an essential part of our church life and a fundamental part of our Sunday service each week. It is a moment to encounter Jesus in a profound and miraculous way.
We believe that 'prayer changes things' so our prayer team is available after every service, requests for prayer are shared and there are opportunities for individual prayer appointments during the week.
Woven throughout everything we do at The Storehouse is our mission to Love God, Love People & Make a difference. We want to be a Storehouse of provision and care in the community.
