The Storehouse is primarily a church, however as Christians
we want to display the love of God in action through the
things we do every day of the week.
We endeavour to make a community hub that hosts mental
health support groups, drop-ins for local agencies, social
groups and community meals as well as the location for the
Skegness Food Bank. Check out our 'Restore' page to see
more about what we do.
Our Church is based on the model of the early church found in Acts 2:42 - 'They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer'.
For us, preaching has to be Biblically based but explained in a vibrant way that is relevant to us today
Woven throughout everything we do at The Storehouse is
our mission to Love God, Love People & Make a difference.
We want to be a Storehouse of provision and care in the
community.
About us - Who we are at The Storehouse
As well as making space for fellowship before and after church meetings, there are life groups meeting during the week and friendship groups which meet in the coffee shop as well as special social events such as quiz's & Talent shows. For more information about life groups please see Melanie Dant.
We believe that 'prayer changes things' so our prayer team is available after every service, requests for prayer are shared and there are opportunities for individual prayer appointments during the week.
At the Storehouse we believe communion is an essential
part of our church life and a fundamental part of our
Sunday service each week. It is a moment to encounter
Jesus in a profound and miraculous way.

Working In Partnership With...
Safe Families
Facing life alone is hard, and when you feel there is no one there to support you it is a scary place to be. Therefore, Safe Families offer support, hope and belonging to improve the lives of those in our communities.
They link children, young people and families with local volunteers who can offer them help and support.
Compassion UK
Founded in 1952, Compassion is a Christian children’s charity fighting poverty.
Through developing partnerships with local churches and facilitating sponsor/child relationships they empower children to learn, develop and overcome poverty.
